MORETON ISLAND
DAY TRIP

Join us for a fully-guided Moreton Island day trip taking in the very best activities and scenery the western side of this beautiful Island has to offer during the day. Jam packed full of fun, you can experience sand tobogganing, snorkeling and swimming, 4 wheel driving along the beach and sand tracks, transparent kayaking over shipwrecks and much more. 

Inclusions: Fully-guided tour includes MiCat Ferry from Brisbane to Moreton Island, activites, snorkelling equipment, safety vests, kayaks, wetsuits, return bus transfers and lunch. GOLF CLUB

Brisbane Golf Club is the oldest club in Brisbane (est. 1896) and is ranked in the top 100 courses in Australia and is a Members only club. Join us for an on-course lunch and an afternoon of golf on this 18 hole championship course.

Exclusions: Golf clubs ($75+GST to hire) and golf shoes (not available to hire)

ABSEILING KANGAROO POINT CLIFFS

REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Registration Confirmation
Your completed registration will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will only be processed once payment has been made.

Name Badge
All attendees will receive a name badge upon arrival at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC). The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and social events. The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privilege of anyone behaving in inappropriate manner.

A number of payment options are available:

Revenue Deductions
Conference registration fees, including partner packages, social and optional activities can be paid for via revenue deductions if booked by the applicable dates:

  • Revenue deduction tranche 1: Friday 20 September, 2024
  • Revenue deduction tranche 2: Friday 6 December, 2024

For those eligible for tranche 1, the deductions will be taken over 10 equal payments with the first deduction on the 4 October 2024 settlement and the last deduction at the end of February 2025 settlement.

For those eligible for tranche 2, the deductions will be taken over 5 equal payments with the first deduction on the 19 December 2024 settlement and the last deduction at the end of February 2025 settlement.

Credit Card and Bank Transfer
Registrations made after the above deadline require payment by either credit card or bank transfer. Attendees will be issued an invoice after completing the online registration process. All invoices must be paid within 14 days of issuing to secure your registration booking.

All accommodation bookings will need to be paid for in full via credit card or bank transfer before the event. Regardless, a credit card guarantee will be taken upon registration.

Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Essential Experiences’ and will incur nominal credit card fees (1.00% MasterCard & Visa and 1.80% American Express).

All prices quoted are excluding GST. GST will be calculated on the final page of the registration site.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers at ampadvicelive@touchpointms.com.au   

Registration cancellation penalties

  • 30 days or more prior to the conference there will be a cancellation fee of A$300.00 per person
  • Between 29 -14 days prior to the conference cancellations will receive a 50% refund of fees payable
  • Within 14 days prior to the conference, there will be no refund

Accommodation cancellation penalties

  • 60 days or more prior to the conference there will be a cancellation fee of A$150.00 per person
  • Between 59 – 31 days prior to the conference, accommodation cancellations will receive a 50% refund of accommodation costs
  • Cancellation within 30 days of the conference, there will be no refund as your room will have been committed to the hotel

You may transfer your Delegate Registration or Function Booking to another person by making your request to do so by email to ampadvicelive@touchpointms.com.au and providing any details about the transfer that we may request, in each case no later than 7 Business Days before the Event.

Registration fees do not include insurance. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the event and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include:

  • Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the event or through the cancellation of the event
  • Loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason
  • Loss of monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia
  • Failure to utilise pre-booked arrangements due to airline delay
  • Force Majeure or any other reason
  • Medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover)
  • Loss or damage to personal property
  • Additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered

The Conference Managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance.

Australia operates under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as amended, and the Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches), 2017. The objective of these is to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

The Conference Managers comply with these legislations and are committed to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

The Conference Managers will not sell your personal information to third parties. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us and we will promptly correct the information.  

Why do we wish you to provide your information?

We require your information to facilitate provision of information to you regarding the Conference and to facilitate your participation in the Conference. Information collected in respect of your proposed participation in any aspect of the Conference will be used for the purposes listed below. You can give or withhold your consent for each or all of these uses. Please indicate your preferences when completing your registration form but please note that we will be unable to forward any information relating to the Conference or to communicate with you regarding your registration if you select ‘no’ to point 1.

What we will do with your information?

  1. Planning and conduct of the Conference including arrangements for your participation;
  2. In the Delegate List published for the Conference;
  3. May also be provided to organisers of future occurrences of this Conference;
  4. May be used to provide you with information of other relevant events in your area of interest.

Important Notes:

  • The parties who will have access to your information (subject to your preference selections on above points) are the Conference Managers, the Conference host organisation (points 1 and point 4), delegates, sponsors and exhibitors of the Conference (point 2) and any future organisers of the Conference (point 3).

The parties mentioned above will rely on your above consent indications for the purposes of compliance.

  • You may withdraw your granular consent at any time by notice in writing to the Conference Managers.
  • You are entitled to access the information held by written application to the Conference Managers.

It is the policy of the Conference Managers that all attendees are able to participate in its activities and are able to enjoy an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. We are committed to making the Conference productive and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, nationality or religion. Harassment of any form will not be tolerated and might result in the perpetrators being permanently removed from the Conference.

The code of conduct outlined here applies to all participants, without exception. Participation in any of the Conference activities constitutes implicit acceptance and understanding of the code of conduct by the participants. Ignorance of the code will not be considered an attenuating circumstance in dealing with any type of infringement of the code as outlined.

All communication must be appropriate for a professional audience that includes people of many different backgrounds. Inappropriate use of sexist, racist or ageist language and imagery, and/or any other commentary that is or can be perceived to be discriminatory in any way, is not permitted. Inappropriate language or behaviour include (but are not limited to) jokes, sustained disruption of talks or other events, sexual attention or innuendo, deliberate intimidation, stalking, and photography or recording of an individual without consent. Offensive comments about race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size or religion will not be tolerated.

The Conference Managers reserve the right to remove participants from the Conference at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid.

The program is correct at the time of publishing. The Conference Managers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

Conference Cancellation / Disruption

The Conference Managers are not responsible for any mandatory quarantine fees, travel and/or border responsibilities rest with the individual arriving into Adelaide.
